Beijing Time June 18 news, according to foreign media reports, network host and design company Web.com Thursday announced that the company will be 135 million U.S. dollars to acquire the domain name registration service provider Register.com.
Web.com said the company would pay $20 million in cash to register.com and bear the latter's $110 million trillion debt and 5 million dollar seller's bills, with a total deal of $135 million. The acquisition of Register.com will help supplement Web.com's existing services and give the company the opportunity to sell services to more customers. Web.com also said that after the acquisition, the company will pay more than 1 million subscribers, in the United States and Canada has more than 1100 employees.
Web.com said the deal would reduce the company's annual spending by 10 million dollars. The company will soon adjust the company's performance expectations.
Web.com shares rose 3% per cent in Thursday, at $3.84.
