What happened to using the icons on the Ubuntu desktop?

&http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/37954.html ">NBSP; In Warty warthog, we decided to try a new way to reach all the important locations, including your computer and the network, just to make up for the space design behind Nautilus. When you finish your work, the icons on your desktop are almost always obscured by windows, and moving the window away or switching to another workspace to get the icon is often painful. So we deactivate all the special desktop icons and provide a portal in the Computer menu. When you only want to open the File Manager, you no longer need to do window cleanup work! We have also adopted Trashapplet, which provides an available Recycle Bin icon on your panel, and is therefore always accessible. In the future, we want it to be able to delete anything you drag and drop, not just files.
If you want to retrieve some special desktop icons, run the program > System Tools > Configuration Editor, browse to/apps/nautilus/desktop and select the icon you want to display.
