What is Devops in Cloud Computing?

Most enterprises know that if they want to improve their competitiveness in today's rapidly changing world, they cannot ignore digital transformation.  DevOps and  cloud computing are often touted as an important way for companies to achieve the required transformation, although the relationship between the two is often confusing because DevOps involves processes and process improvements, while cloud computing involves technologies and services. Not mutually exclusive, it is important to understand how the cloud and DevOps work together to help companies achieve their transformation goals.

Different organizations define  DevOps in different ways. The purpose of this article is not to take a properly defined stance, but to propose both definitions at the same time in order to focus on the benefits of  cloud for DevOps. In other words, the DevOps definition is usually divided into two camps:

Developer friendly operation. In organizations using this definition, IT operations operate independently, but are more developer-friendly (for example, a self-service catalog is provided to developers to supply infrastructure or provide technical support to deploy new code).
DevOps as a unified team. In organizations using this definition, developers assume operational responsibility and vice versa.
Although the cloud itself has multiple definitions, the most basic definition of a cloud is a system that allows the provision of infrastructure (eg, VMs or routers). Therefore, it allows the infrastructure to be defined as code or templates, making it possible to create repeatable processes without cloud technology.
