After you open the Windows Settings page, click the Account option icon.

After you have entered your personal Account Settings page, you can see that the current account is logged on with a Microsoft account and click the "Log on locally" option.

In the next window, first enter the password for the current Microsoft account.

Next enter the username for the local account, and the password is set as needed (you can choose not to set a password).

The next page does not need to be set, just click the "Logout and Finish" button.

After the logoff is complete, you can see from the Account page that the system has switched to the name of the local account.
