Window 8 also has cloud services

Keywords Microsoft inside cloud services

Windows 8 will build a real-time interactive function with Microsoft cloud services such as SkyDrive. This should affect some cloud service providers (such as Dropbox), especially if Microsoft can handle security issues better than Dropbox. But this remains to be confirmed ...

From Apple's idea, Microsoft will allow Windows 8 devices to connect and communicate with each other easily through the cloud. But on the other hand, the function itself can create security problems. And when it comes to security issues, Microsoft's reputation is not good. Time will tell whether Microsoft has made great strides in security and is able to protect Windows 8 well. Though I doubt it. SkyDrive will access the remote device you are adding to your account, even across the firewall.

At present, do not know how these functions to meet the internal needs of the enterprise, such as data leakage protection (data Loss Prevention, DLP) Microsoft will feel some pressure here. On the one hand, they will want to drive their own cloud computing platforms, such as Windows Azure and Microsoft Office 365. So obviously, they will give Windows 8 the best support for these services. On the other hand, there are many ipads, iphones and a bunch of smart phones that use Google's Android operating system. Microsoft is also bound to be pressured to let cloud services support these products. This may be a dilemma, but Microsoft has to let us know whether its cloud services will provide iOS and Android apps anyway.

There is a very cool cloud computing application in Windows 8 that allows users to keep their desktop set in the cloud, so no matter what device you log in to, you will see your own desktop. This is an extension of the old service Windows Live. You can even see the shadow of the Citrix Virtual desktop "User virtualization" technology. And like LinkedIn or Google, Windows 8 can get contacts from several cloud e-mail services.

Personally, I've been using Windows 3.0 Beta since 25. But now I'm using a virtual machine on a MacBook Pro to perform Windows. I'm sure Windows 8 is going to be great, but I don't know if it will help Microsoft win the war.
