Users wishing to participate in this trial and feedback are required to download the technical preview only if they are registered at the indsider.windows.com login Live ID. This phase provides only the desktop version of Windows 10 Technology Preview, with 32-bit and 64-digit versions in English (including US and UK), Chinese and Portuguese.

According to Microsoft's presentation at the press conference, the technology Preview is intended for professionals who are familiar with technology rather than ordinary enthusiasts.
