According to IDC, a market research firm, more than a year after the release of Windows 7, the company will occupy half of the Microsoft enterprise operating system market and is expected to break 95% of its market share by 2013. IDC predicts that by 2010, the Windows 7 share of the Windows operating system purchased by the company will be 49.5%, with a total of 58 million. That figure will go beyond Vista, which has a share of only 15% in 2010, with a total of 18 million. Vista's previous generation, the 2001 release of XP to 2010 's share will still be as high as 35%, about 41 million sets, which is enough to show the decline of Vista. By 2011, the share of Windows 7 will climb to 75% in the Windows operating system the company buys, while Vista will fall to 0.5%. Vista will be completely out of the market in 2012, and XP to 2012 and 2013 total shipments will still reach 15 million sets and 8.4 million sets respectively. IDC analysts believe that these users are the first to buy windows 7, and then through Microsoft's software security agreement downgrade.
