Yahoo's CEO Mayer has bought 10 start-ups

Beijing Time May 13 News, according to T3 web site reported that Yahoo Friday (May 13) announced the acquisition of Mobile gaming company Loki UBM. This is Yahoo since Marissa (Marissa Mayer) Last July as CEO since the acquisition of the tenth Venture company.

A Yahoo spokeswoman said Loki studio was Yahoo's fourth acquisition this month, the tenth since Yahoo last July.

Yahoo buys 10 start-ups: stamped, Ontheair, snip.it, alike, Jybe, Summly, Astrid, Gopollgo, Milewise and Loki.

According to the Mashable website, Ms. Mayer set a plan to start buying smaller businesses as early as last October. In a 6-month period, Ms. Mayer's acquisition reached half of the acquisitions she managed for a long time in Google.

These acquisitions are part of a three-step plan that Mayer introduced to introduce senior engineers to Yahoo. The plan aims to enhance Yahoo's product and technology innovation.

After Ms. Mayer's CEO, she reformed Yahoo, shutting down apps and services to focus on new products such as Yahoo Mail for ipad and Android platforms and the Yahoo weather forecast for the iphone.

Soon after, Yahoo closed a second group of businesses, including Yahoo! Avatars, Yahoo! for BlackBerry and application search.

In a report this March, the Wall Street Journal said Yahoo was trying to buy Dailymotion's controlling power.
