According to Lei Feng Network report, Y http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/16451.html ">combinator Demo Day has ended, but YC's influence on start-up company has not stopped." This Lei Feng net specially sorted out the founder of y Combinatior a famous article "How to start a business", this article originates from his speech at Harvard University, it was that speech that made him serious thinking about angel investment, and eventually led to the establishment of YC.

A successful venture is based on the following three conditions: a good partner, a product that does demand, and as little start-up capital as possible. Most startups fail because they lack one of these conditions, and those who fully possess these three points are often successful.

The comforting thing is that when you think about them, these three conditions are feasible, although it may be a little difficult. Given that successful entrepreneurship should make the founders rich, we can conclude that a rich life is achievable, just a little difficult.

If there is only one thing I want to clarify about entrepreneurship, it is that there is no magic step that requires exceptional talent to make a startup.

Creative

It is particularly necessary to point out that entrepreneurship does not require exceptional creativity. The idea of starting a business is to provide people with a better product than what they have now. But many people now have products and services that are so poor that they don't need much brains to figure out how to improve them.

Google, for example, starts with the idea of simply creating a criticisms search engine that is easy to use. For this they made three innovations: link more pages, sort search results, and use a clean and concise interface with no harassment ads, so in short, they made a very good site. The technical content of the Google site is beyond doubt, and the overall plan is straightforward. When they already have a lot of ambition and development, this simple plan brings them 1 billion dollars a year.

There are many other areas of the world that are as backward as the web search field before Google's Advent. I can think of several ways to inspire entrepreneurship, but most of it comes down to the following: Observing people's behavior and needs, and finding a technology or means to meet their needs without being too bad.

For example, the dating sites are doing much worse than the web search service before Google appeared. They all use the same simple architecture, tend to use data pairing to replace the importance of real-world dating, even less than a college student to cope with the course of the homework. At the same time, there is a lot of money to invest in this area, dating site is a valuable business, and it is possible through the successful operation of more than a hundredfold return.

A good idea is just the first step to start a business. Many prospective entrepreneurs believe that the whole process of entrepreneurship is just the original idea and the rest of the execution details. And venture capitalists have a clearer picture of this, and when an entrepreneur comes to a VC company demanding that his ideas be exchanged for further cooperation, he doesn't even get a confidentiality agreement. Obviously, a purely creative market value is not even as expensive as signing a confidentiality agreement.

Another example of the value of primitive ideas is that many entrepreneurs have made great changes to their original plans in the course of their practice. Microsoft initiated the business plan is to sell software such as programming languages, and their current business model is five years after the start-up of IBM after the door was born.

Creativity is definitely valuable, but the problem is that it's hard to turn into revenue in the process of entrepreneurship. Creativity is not the kind of thing that makes it easy for others to do what you want them to do, and their value is in the process of thinking and revising the original plan in practice.

Creativity is not the most important thing, those who have ideas are. A good worker can turn a bad idea into a good one, but a good idea won't help a fool.
