Zero tariff import growth of Taiwan agricultural products

In order to shorten the customs clearance time of Taiwan agricultural products, customs opened a special window to provide priority orders, personal approval, personal tax, personal release and other service measures, on the basis of the 7-day work system, the implementation of the "24-hour appointment clearance" to ensure that "at all times can pass."　　The customs also provides "door-to-door inspection" service according to the importer's application. Since August 1, 2005, the mainland has imposed zero tariffs on 15 imported fresh fruits originating in the Taiwan region. Since March 20, 2007, there has been an increase in the imposition of zero tariffs on 19 imported agricultural products originating in Taiwan. After the implementation of the cross-Strait Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement, the above benefits Taiwan policy is still valid and continues to execute.
