使用Gem install安裝starling出錯 ERROR: http://gems.rubyforge.org/ does not appear to be a rep

starling是一個ruby寫的開源的訊息佇列伺服器，具體介紹和安裝可以參見：

今天為伺服器安裝starling的時候出現了下面的異常。簡單說下解決方案。

 

執行gem install memcache-client starling的時候出現了：

ERROR: http://gems.rubyforge.org/ does not appear to be a rep<br />ERROR: could not find gem mysql locally or in a repository 

 

原因是偉大的GFW把http://gems.rubyforge.org/給屏蔽了。

 

解決方案有兩種：

1.去http://rubyforge.org找到相應的gem檔案下載，然後執行本地安裝。

2.使用代理安裝：

gem install --http-proxy http://61.7.241.18:3128 memcache-client starling  

我使用代理安裝成功。Proxy 位址可以在這裡找：http://www.cnproxy.com/
