用隨身碟安裝Ubuntu 12.04無法啟動

用Universal USB Installer製作安裝盤，安裝完了啟動提示：

error: file not found

grub rescue>

坑爹啊，用都沒開始用就要rescue了。。。但裝的時候明明是選了將引導器裝到主要磁碟分割上的。

只能修複啟動資訊了，網上方法很多，比較靠譜的是先用LiveCD啟動，然後：

$ sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt
$ sudo grub-install --root-directory=/mnt /dev/sda

然後就可以啟動了，但啟動時會報一堆錯噁心你：

error: file not found.
error: file not found.
error: no suitable mode found.
error: no video mode activated.
error: file not found.
error: file not found.

解決方案是：

$ sudo update-grub
