以LinearLayout為例，它提供的background屬性將會將背景圖片展開，相當難看。事實上我們只需做少量的修改就可以實現web編程中css背景圖片的效果。來試試吧。
建立重複的背景圖片
在drawable目錄下建立一個repeat_bg.xml:
 

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>  
 <bitmap xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"   
android:src="@drawable/bg"   
android:tileMode="repeat" />   


然後在布局的xml檔案中可以這樣引用:
 
    <LinearLayout android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:background="@drawable/repeat_bg"> </LinearLayout>
