Azure 虛擬機器 Windows Server 2008 R2安裝AzureBackupServiceAgent失敗的解決方案

在Azure VM上安裝 Azure備份服務 ，作業系統是WindowsServer2008R2, 雙擊安裝包提示Unable to execute the embedded application to complete the installation.

之前在我們的物理伺服器上，也是同樣的作業系統，安裝沒有問題。

 

google之，發現是MS已知的一個問題：https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2934202/en-us

原因：This problem is known to occur with a virtual machine (VM) from a Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter SP1 image that was created from the image gallery. However, this same VM works as expected on Windows Server 2012.

可見確實是從Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter SP1 鏡像建立的VM，都有這個問題，

解決方案是安裝

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64).
