Android Bionic TLS簡單介紹

What's TLS?

      TLS即Thread Local
Storage。支援TLS的線程有三種類型的變數：線程局部變數，執行緒區域變數（TLS）和全域變數。TLS的不同之處：所有線程以同一個變數名或索引
訪問TLS變數，但不同線程的TLS變數儲存在不同的記憶體地區。簡而言之，就是同一個名字，不同的儲存。

      例如，有TLS變數errno，每個線程執行相同的語句“errno=i；”，errno在不同線程下有了不同的值。注意，這並不是在每一個線程中都聲明一個名為errno的變數。這正是TLS的便利之處

How to enable TLS?

If you would like to enable it, kernel config will now get new entry:

    CONFIG_HAS_TLS_REG=y

Rebuild the kernel and apply patch: 'android-enable-tls.patch'

The attached patch contains the experimental changes to enable TLS in
userspace (Android bionic and frameworks/base).
