(根據我的推測,該軟體本身極可能是一個超簡單的模板系統,“軟體設計者”可以定義一個recipe,其實就是一個模板,然後定義一些 variables,然後可以封裝出exe,運行時就是根據使用者的輸入向模板填寫然後產生結果而已。顯然它就是一個簡單的模板設計器,也許可以加上批處理功能。我懷疑它甚至不需要UI設計器。也許,任何瞭解某種模板和指令碼語言的編程愛好者都能看穿它。當然,它所能產生的“軟體”是“無限多”的……它的例子如下:可以定製收信人姓名或者其他的推銷信建立器、快顯視窗建立器、貨單建立器、電子書、也許具有群發功能的超級會員通知書寫器、集合了若干功能的web 軍刀、madlibs小遊戲——就是你說幾個詞,然後填入一個預先設計的句子裡產生搞笑的結果)、賀卡建立器……鑒於賀卡建立器和第一個推銷信建立器何其相似,說明其已經黔驢技窮,我就不再列舉了。)
下面列幾種我總結的技巧如下:
- 語言親切,多用比興。大量的排比、呼應(反覆強調),多用小標題和列表(循循善誘),及時插入感歎和設問(自我暗示)……總之深得演講學的要點。
- 拿一個未定的patent來唬人。並恩賜你royalty-free。(我一向反對任何形式的軟體專利,除了侵犯思想自由的根本原因,也有另一個小原因:專利是壟斷,也是權威,這個時代,公眾總是被權威唬弄的對象。)
- 行文中不斷插入成功者的現身說法來強化其可信度。還公布那些成功者的連絡方式,你可以去確認!(然而,反覆轟炸已經消除了懷疑者去確認的動力——這麼多,難道都是假的?)
- 以簡短易懂的點子來說服讀者,你也可以作到。(自然對實現這些點子所需的技術細節譬如許多例子裡面所需要的網頁製作技巧一筆帶過,實際上誘導外行認為實現細節也應該像拍腦袋想點子那樣簡單。)
- 以似是而非的事實來迷惑外行。它列舉軟體的高昂費用,$1000-$10000;然而,它舉例的點子所產生的所謂your own software,根本不是可與上述軟體比較的,而只是一些小玩具(儘管小玩具也可能有大價值)。(多數人對自己不瞭解的領域會警覺,他們是不是在詐我?實際上行文在誘導讀者這樣思考:誑我?有了它,我自己也行!)
- 總結一些必然正確且具魅力的“成功之路”。例如 Your 3 Steps to Success: 1. Generate an Idea, 2. Turn That Idea into Reality, 3. Turn That Reality into Money。

- 不是我求你買,而是你求我賣。這個倒轉的技巧在趙本山“賣拐”系列小品中就已經揭示過了。你要作一個測試以證明你有足夠的資質(然而實際上所謂測試,不過是打一些勾——連是非題都不是,再一次的確認你確實已經死心塌地的相信了);此外他還PS一下,offer有限,隨時賺錢大門會關上,你還猶豫啥?
- 不斷拋出一些看似必然的前提來暗示你,如果你未能獲得成功一切都是你的問題。如你要能每天頭腦風暴出20個點子。然而如果那20個點子沒有獲得成功,那是你頭腦不夠靈活,不瞭解市場,不走運……總之與它無關。

我強烈建議所有大學的MBA課程都應該引進其作為一個案例!

Note about price #1: Compare this to the cost of hiring a software developer to write one program for you. A reasonable cost to expect would be about $1,000. If you created only 10 programs with this software, you would save $9,803. If you created 50 ... You get the idea.
Note about price #2: If you created a software program with "Make Your Own Software" and sold it for $100, your costs are covered by selling only two. How many copies of your creation do you think you'll be able to sell? If you sold only 10, you would have already returned your investment 5 times over.
