shell中for和while區別

發現for和while一個細節上的區別，寫出來備忘。

指令碼：

file=/home/hadoop/phrases.txtfor content in `cat ${file}`do        phrase=`echo ${content}`        echo $phrasedone

phrases.txt檔案內容是：

Hello previous rep

很自然的以為echo $phrase的值是"Hello previous rep"，不過出乎意料，結果是"Hello"。怎樣才能列印出整行"Hello previous rep"呢?用while。

file=/home/hadoop/phrases.txtcat ${file} | while read contentdo    phrase=`echo ${content}`    echo $phrasedone

列印結果:"Hello previous rep。

原因：for迴圈式以空格為分隔字元，而while是以一行為分隔字元。所以如果一行文本中有空格，要遍曆多行文本，最好採用while。
