DownloadError: android.googlesource.com:

最近因為工作需要，需要完整的Android源碼，於是在VMware上安裝Ubuntu，按照http://source.android.com/source/downloading.html中說明下載源碼，但是當使用命令repo syns的時候總是失敗DownloadError: android.googlesource.com:
<urlopen error [Errno 110] Connection timed out>

其實官網（http://source.android.com/source/downloading.html）有段說明，如果認真執行就可解決。

1，  先按官網的步驟一步步執行

2，當遇到上述問題後，用瀏覽器登入https://android.googlesource.com/new-password，並用gmail帳號登入；

3， 點擊網頁上的“允許訪問”，得到類似的結果：

 

machine android.googlesource.com login git-<userName>.gmail.com password <password>

machine android-review.googlesource.com login git-<userName>.gmail.com password <password>

 將上邊的兩行追加到~/.netrc檔案結尾。（如果你的linux系統中從來沒有建立過此檔案，就在home目錄下建立.netrc檔案，將上面的資訊加到建立的檔案中去），

4，的URI更改為https://android.googlesource.com/a/platform/manifest（中間加上了“/a”）。

5，然後執行repo sync就可以正常下載了

 

因為訪問基本是匿名的，為了防止串連過多，對同一IP地址的串連數做了一定的限制。用gmail帳號進行認證。

在公司網路內或者用虛擬機器下載的話，會經常遇到這問題。
