Firefox 52 版是最後一個針對 Windows XP 和 Windows Vista 的完整升級。還會有安全更新發布，但不再有新功能。

 

為什麼 Firefox 停止支援 Windows XP 和 Vista？

Firefox 是僅存的還支援 Windows XP 和 Vista 的瀏覽器。Microsoft 自己都已經從 2014 年不再支援 Windows XP 並將在 2017 年停止支援 Windows Vista。缺少支援的作業系統沒有安全更新，通常帶有已知漏洞，再使用是危險的，所以在這些作業系統上維護 Firefox 是非常困難的。

即使不再提供新的功能，為 XP 和 Vista 使用者的 Firefox 安全更新會一直持續直至2017年9月。在2017年中期，我們會根據還在使用 Windows XP 和 Vista 使用者的數量聲明最後的支援日期。
