CentOS下安裝PostgreSQL

一、配置 YUM 倉庫

修改原始的 yum 倉庫配置：

vim /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo

在[base]和[updates] 節（section）部分的尾部插入一行：

exclude = postgresql* 

用以取消從預設倉庫安裝和更新PostgresQL 。

二、下載和安裝PGDG RPM 檔案

註：本例子為在CentOS6.3 32-bit 上安裝 PostgrSQL 9.1

1、下載

curl -O

http://yum.postgresql.org/9.1/redhat/rhel-6-i386/pgdg-centos91-9.1-4.noarch.rpm

2、安裝對應的RPM檔案

rpm -ivh pgdg-centos91-9.1-4.noarch.rpm

三、安裝 PostgreSQL Server

yum install postgresql91-server

四、安裝後的命令

1、初始化資料庫（資料目錄預設路徑：/var/lib/pgsql/9.1/data）

service postgresql-9.1 initdb

2、啟動postgresql資料庫服務

service psotgresql-9.1 start
