Mac OS X下GnuPlot的安裝和配置（無法set term png等圖片輸出）

今天使用gitstats分析git repo的活動資訊，發現其內部使用gnuplot，結果發現無法產生png圖片，進入gnuplot的shell發現無法設定png格式輸出。如下

gnuplot> set term png                  ^         unknown or ambiguous terminal type; type just ‘set terminal‘ for a list

或者類型別換成unknown

這是因為OS X 現在已經不預裝X11了（見官方訊息http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5293），之後我使用了如下的方式安裝成功。

1. 安裝X11

http://xquartz.macosforge.org/landing/

為dmg包，下載安裝即可

2.安裝gnuplot

http://www.miscdebris.net/blog/2009/09/16/install-gnuplot-on-mac-os-x/

同為dmg包，下載拖拽安裝

最後使用gitstats產生網頁（說實話，這網頁產生的真是醜）
