介紹 Windows Azure Role Architecture 的文章

         
今天文檔中多次看到了RDFE，是和Azure相關的，但不知道是具體啥意思。在網上搜了一下，意外地找到了一篇介紹Windows Azure的好文章。之所以稱其為好文，是因為“有圖有真相”、廢話很少、從使用者角度介紹了Windows Azure在背後是如何響應的使用者的請求的。在此推薦給大家 -Windows Azure Role
Architecture。

       那麼什麼是RDFE？ RedDog Front End，RedDog是Windows Azure最初的內部開發代碼(codename)。RDFE的正式稱呼應該是Windows Azure Portal， 它是整個Windows Azure服務最前端，它了除了提供部署服務外，還提供了 Subscription management, Billing, User access 以及
Service management等服務。它對外提供了一組REST介面，供Windows Azure Portal捉著其他工具，如：Visual Studio等調用。之前也它被稱為 Live Portal Service。
