javascript中字串和字串變數的問題

var s = new String("hello");s.indexOf(1) = ‘p‘; //錯誤，indexof（）是函數 s[1]=‘p‘   //錯誤，在c和c++可以改變字串變數元素的值,但這裡貌似有問題alert(s);   //顯示“hello”

  

 

 var s = new String("Visit Microsoft!")var a=s.replace(/Microsoft/, "W3School")alert(a); alert(s); // 顯示“Visit Microsoft!” ，沒有改變原來的值
