python-pip : Depends: python-setuptools (>= 0.6c1) 問題

安裝apt-get install python-pip 遇到以下問題。

[email protected]:~# apt-get install python-pip
Reading package lists... Done

distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 python-pip : Depends: python-setuptools (>= 0.6c1) but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

解決辦法：

First remove the python-pkg-resources completely using

 sudo apt-get purge python-pkg-resources

Once completed successfully, first  run

  sudo apt-get -f install

then

   sudo apt-get install python-pip
