以Fedora release 9 系統為例 

載入ipmi驅動模組

 modprobe ipmi_msghandler modprobe ipmi_devintf modprobe ipmi_si modprobe ipmi_poweroff modprobe ipmi_watchdog

linux下載ipmitool工具

 

wget https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/ipmitool/ipmitool/1.8.18/ipmitool-1.8.18.tar.bz2 tar -jxf ipmitool-1.8.18.tar.bz2  cd ipmitool-1.8.18 ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/dellipmi make make install ln -sf /usr/local/dellipmi/bin/ipmitool /usr/sbin/ipmitool

顯示IPMI網路設定

ipmitool lan print

顯示IPMI使用者

ipmitool user list 1

設定ID位2的使用者密碼位123456

ipmitool user set password 2 "123456"

設定IPMI通道1的IP地址

ipmitool lan set 1 defgw ipaddr 192.168.3.3

設定IPMI通道1的子網路遮罩

ipmitool lan set 1 netmask 255.255.255.224

設定IPMI通道1的網關

ipmitool lan set 1 ipaddr 192.168.3.1

設定完成

告別BIOS裡面配置,在系統裡面配置IPMI
