解決CentOS系統mini安裝後的虛擬機器工具(VMware Tools)安裝問題

準備工作，先安裝必要的組件。

yum -y groupinstall "Perl Support"

yum -y install gcc gcc-c++ automake make kernel-devel

 

然後在vCenter裡找到這台伺服器，並掛接VMWARE的升級工具(圖形操作的略掉)。

mkdir /mnt/cdrom
mount -o loop /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
cd /mnt/cdrom

cp VMwareTools*.* /home

---------------------複製完成以後，就可以斷了掛載
umount /mnt/cdrom
rm /mnt/cdrom -rf

 

cd /home

tar zxvf VMwareTools........tgz

cd vm....../

然後安裝即可：

./vmware_install.pl

 

如果一些正常，一路斷行符號就可以了。

如果出現這個就表明gcc沒有安裝
# yum install gcc gcc-c++ automake make
將編譯環境一次裝好

如果出現這個就表示kernel-devel包沒有安裝
# yum install


成功安裝VMware tools時的提示如下，一路斷行符號：

Would you like to change it? [no]

Searching for a valid kernel header path...
Detected the kernel headers of the running kernel at
