Something about the linux/Documentation/kbuild

1. Open the 00-INDEX first, it give some overview of the kbuild directory

00-INDEX
        - this file: info on the kernel build process
kbuild.txt
        - developer information on kbuild
kconfig.txt
        - usage help for make *config
kconfig-language.txt
        - specification of Config Language, the language in Kconfig files
makefiles.txt
        - developer information for linux kernel makefiles
modules.txt
        - how to build modules and to install them

2.  kbuild.txt
This file give us some explanation of Environment variables

4. kconfig.txt
This file contains some assistance for using "make *config".

Use "make help" to list all of the possible configuration targets.

The xconfig ('qconf') and menuconfig ('mconf') programs also
have embedded help text.  Be sure to check it for navigation,
search, and other general help text.

This document describes the Linux kernel Makefiles.

6. modules.txt
In this document you will find information about:
- how to build external modules
- how to make your module use the kbuild infrastructure
- how kbuild will install a kernel
- how to install modules in a non-standard location
