High Performance Technical Computing through Cloud Infrastructure Services

This paper will target the two relevant areas: Firstly, How the infrastructure as a service (IaaS) provided by the cloud s ervice provider can be utilized for executing massive scientific and numerical applications, used in computational fluid d ynamics, structural (stress) and thermal analysis of material, simulations, seismic tomography etc. Secondly, Externalized aspect of a cloud model increased the level of risk for security of such experimental data.
