2014 MacBook Air installs separate X64 Win7 system

The reason is written, because most of the Internet is installed with bootcamp dual system, installation of a separate Win7 tutorial less, and then most still write not clear, so toss for a while. In fact, after the installation, still feel very simple.

First, the preparatory work

1. Software Requirements

(1) WIN7 installation ISO image (including USB3.0 driver).

(2) Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool.

(3) The latest version of Bootcamp.

2. Hardware Requirements

(1) Two USB drive with more than 4G.

(2) MacBook Air one.

(3) a Windows pc.

(4) WiFi network environment.

Second, the official start

1. Make USB Win7 installation disk. (Done on a Windows PC)

(1) Take out a USB flash drive.

(2) Install the Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool on your Windows PC.

(3) Open the Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool and make a USB stick Win7 installation disk.

(4) Wait for the reading bar to complete, eject USB flash drive ready to use.

2. Make WinPE. (Done on Windows PC, must be Win8pe, Mac Touchpad may fail with WIN7PE)

(1) Take out another USB drive.

(2) WinPE production process I will not say, since you want to toss this, presumably pack an old peaches WinPE should be a cinch.

3. Format the MacBook Air. (It's certainly done under the MacBook Air, hereinafter referred to as MAC)

(1) Insert the WinPE USB drive into the MacBook Air.

(2) Restart the Mac, when the computer when "a sound and white screen always hold down" option "until the hard disk selection screen appears.

(3) Select the yellow Windows disk, that is, the WinPE from the USB flash drive to start the computer.

(4) in the Old Peaches menu select Win8pe System, enter the boot.

(6) I think the most critical step, click Diskgenius "Hard Drive" drop-down menu bar, select "Convert partition table type to MBR format". If this step is not done, can not install the system!

(7) Remember to click "Save Changes" in the top left corner of the Diskgenius.

　　4. Install Windows 7 on your Macbook air

(1) Insert the Win7 install USB stick into the MacBook Air.

(2) Restart the Mac, when the computer when "a sound and white screen always hold down" option "until the hard disk selection screen appears.

(3) Select the yellow Windows disk.

(4) The rest is just like a PC.

(5) Restart the Mac, about White screen twenty or thirty seconds, will enter the local hard disk Win7 system.

5. Install the bootcamp and complete the drive installation.

Iii. Summary

At this point the system has been basically installed, in fact, the process can be more simple, with WinPE installed the system of child shoes should know that the system in fact a U disk is enough, do not need a dedicated Win7 installed USB flash drive, with the PE Windows Installer directly installed on the good. The image does not have to be integrated USB3.0, can be installed after the system is not too late, because the whole can be completed with the touch pad.
