21 st Century -- "Interactive Design"
By Jenry
With the rapid development of computer and information technology, information is everywhere now. More and more providers are paying attention to how to effectively accept their own products and information. For the IT industry, various websites, software, and so on are everywhere, and the purpose is clearly to provide better services for users. However, do we really need to fully meet the customer's needs, make the customer fully satisfied, and provide users with more convenient services? There may be few that can be achieved. This is also one of the reasons for the slow development of the software industry.
Can we calm down and think about this problem? The reason is simple. We ignore "Interaction Design", which means we didn't go into the masses to understand people's sentiments. design Software Based on the customer's actual needs or violate the customer's needs.
What is interaction design? I found an explanation on the Internet as follows:
From the perspective of users, interactive design is a technology that makes products easy to use, effective and pleasant. It is committed to understanding target users and their expectations, measure the test taker's knowledge about the interactions between users and products, as well as the psychological and behavioral characteristics of "people". At the same time, they also include understanding various effective interaction methods and enhancing and expanding them. Interaction design also involves communication between multiple disciplines and multi-field and multi-background personnel.
Through interactive design of product interfaces and behaviors, an organic relationship can be established between the product and its users to effectively achieve the user's goals. This is the purpose of interactive design.
As a software designer, let's take a look at whether we have done the following in the product development process:
1. Is it possible to ignore other factors, such as convenient operations and friendly interfaces, only to implement functions during development;
2. Give up because a function is not implemented properly, and wait until the next version is implemented;
3. The customer's intention is violated because of poor functions, and the customer's own ideas are adopted;
4. Let the customer operate the software based on their own ideas, while ignoring the user's ideas;
5. Assume that the customer's level is high and can fully understand it;
6. You only need to pay attention to mouse operations and ignore the keyboard operation habits;
7. allow users to operate software according to their own habits, and consider users' operation habits;
..................
Are we truly communicating with users? If this continues, can the user be satisfied? What we lack here is what we mentioned above. We have lost the "Interactive Design". How to do a good job of "Interaction Design" is an urgent question.
