By default, win7 guest (Guest account) is disabled and needs to be opened manually:
* Enable the Guest account: Right-click my computer \ management \ user to have a guest, and double-click it to remove the check box before "Account Disabled.
* Delete the Guest account in "Deny access to this computer from the network": Running Group Policy (gpedit. MSC) \ Local Computer \ Computer Configuration \ Windows Settings \ Security Settings \ Local Policy \ User Rights Assignment \ Deny access to this computer from the network. Select guest and delete it. (Default guest in win7 is not allowed to be shared)
* Disable "account: Local Accounts with blank passwords can only log on to the console"
Note: Guest accounts are also disabled for updates to some anti-virus software. In this case, you can view the preceding three operations:
* Run the service policy "services. msc ". Start the "ClipBook server" (Folder server): This service allows other users on your network to see your folder. Of course, sometimes you can start it manually and then use other programs to publish information on your network.
* If the ClipBook Service cannot be started. Error 1068: the dependent service or group cannot be started. This step is required (you can view their dependencies): First enable
Network dde dsdm (if enabled, go to step 2), enable Network DDE, and then enable
ClipBook.
Finally, set up win7 file sharing and add the guest permission to the folder to be shared.
