About Bare Disk:


For example, 1T hard disk inserted into the storage, can be used certainly not 1 T, after formatting in the GUI display may only 900G, but has not done raid, this is called bare disk.


After the bare disk raid, may be available only 500G, and then join the pool, the LUNs to the host, this 500G is the total usable space.




About LUN units for 13.5G:


EMC storage should be the default to make a pool into a 13.5G lun, such as the host needs 100G, 7 to the host, and then the Linux word through LVM to do vg,lv to add.
