There are two types to add:


I. Temporary Addition


~ $
Echo $ path
# Display the current environment variable

/Usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin
# Example: multiple paths are separated ":"
~ $
Path = "$ path:/home/workdir"
# Add the "/home/workdir" Directory

/Usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/home/workdir
# For example, multiple paths are still separated ":"

Added successfully! (Of course, You can restart the instance or make the output take effect immediately :)
~ $
Export path

~ $
Cd ~

~ $
Source. bashrc
# This command must be run in the main directory. Otherwise, the system prompts that the. bashrc command cannot be found.

Ii. permanent changes


Open ~ /. Add the last command to the bashrc file:
Path = $ path:/home/workdir
Note that it is different from the above. If there is no double quotation mark, restart OK.
