Android:descendantfocusability usage

In the ListView item layout There may be a checkbox, Button, ImageButton, and similar class click Controls. Then there will be a focus on the issue of grab. That is, the item's Focus quilt control is snatched.

The API description is as follows:

 for a View to take focus. Must be one of the following constant values.

There are three attribute values:

beforedescendants:ViewGroup takes precedence over its subclass control and gets to focus

Afterdescendants:viewgroup gets focus only if its subclass control does not need to get focus

Blocksdescendants:viewgroup overrides the subclass control and gets the focus directly

The usual is the third one.
