I have learned some useful knowledge about the configuration of a Broadband Router, so I have studied the detailed steps of the configuration of the Broadband Router. I will share with you here, hoping to help you. Since I started my studio on ADSL, I have been wondering how to make the LAN in my studio achieve Internet sharing. Using the Broadband Router configuration, I can easily achieve Internet sharing, but I don't want to spend a few hundred dollars, if you use a soft route, you need a computer with a good configuration as the server to start up 24 hours a day, wasting resources. What should we do?
Finally, I found BBIagent on the Internet and used it to build a router for an abandoned Lenovo Pentium computer in the warehouse to achieve Internet sharing across the studio. Next I will introduce the self-made router process in detail and share it with you.
Software Installation
Before using the BBIagent router, we need to create a boot disk image file for the Router Based on the selected Broadband Router configuration and network connection protocol, and write it into the boot disk of the router computer. There are four ways to run the image file creation wizard. Let's take the Applet as an example to create the router boot disk image file. Click "Applet" to bring up the production wizard. If no production wizard is displayed, download the Java Virtual Machine.
1. Broadband Router Configuration
Click "Next" to enter the bandwidth router configuration window 1), enter the IP address and subnet mask used for the Intranet, and select the bandwidth router configuration.
2. Select the NIC and communication protocol
Click "Next" and select the NIC responsible for the Intranet on the vro computer. "Next" requires that you enter the NIC interrupt number and I/O address. If you use a PCI Nic, you do not need to enter data. Next, select the communication protocol to connect to the Internet. Because ADSL is used, select "PPPoE" in the protocol, and "Next" select the Internet Nic and set the NIC data.
3. Set vro built-in services
You can use the Broadband Router to configure the built-in DNS proxy server and DHCP server 2), so that computers in the LAN can share the Internet without too many settings.
