Baidu prefers simple-structured web pages. Webpages with complex structures may not be able to log on to Baidu smoothly. When designing a webpage, try:
1. Add a title to each webpage
The title of the homepage. We recommend that you use your website name or company name. The title of other webpages is related to the content of each webpage. Different webpages do not have the same title.
2. Do not make the entire webpage into a Flash or an image.
Baidu recognizes every webpage by recognizing Chinese characters in its source code. If your entire webpage is a Flash or an image, Baidu may not include your webpage if it cannot find Chinese characters.
3. Do not redirect webpages
The redirected webpage may not be easy to log on to Baidu.
4. Do not use Frame (Frame structure) in the webpage)
5. Do not use overly complex Java scripts on webpages
Some Java scripts are invisible to search engines, so they cannot be identified or logged on.
5. Static web pages can log on to Baidu more smoothly, and dynamic web pages are not easy to log on to Baidu.
· If your webpage url contains a url such as asp ,? Web pages may be considered dynamic web pages.
· If there are many webpages on your website that must be made into a Frame or dynamic webpage, we recommend that you at least make the homepage a simple webpage and make some important webpages on the website, add a link to the homepage.
6. Do not cheat on search engines
Cheating websites cannot log on to Baidu, and may be deleted at any time even after logon.
Cheating website definition
Cheating on search engines refers to cheating on search engines to improve the display of opportunities and rankings in search engines.
All of the following actions may be considered cheating:
· Intentionally add irrelevant keywords to the webpage content anywhere in the webpage source code;
· Deliberately repeat some keywords in the source code of a webpage at any location. Intentional repetition of keywords related to the content of the webpage is also considered as cheating;
· Add hidden text that can be recognized by search engines on webpages but invisible to users. Whether using the same background color text, ultra-small font size text, text hidden layer, or misuse of image ALT or other methods, all belong to cheating;
· Intentionally create a large number of links pointing to a website;
· Allows search engines and users to access webpages with different content (including using redirection and other actions) on the same website );
· Cheating behaviors are defined for websites rather than webpages. A website is considered as cheating even if it has only one web page;
· Websites with links pointing to a cheating website are jointly and severally liable and will also be considered as cheating (however, websites with links pointing to a cheating website are not considered as cheating ).
Cheating website harm
Depending on the cheating situation on the web page, you will be punished to varying degrees:
· The minor penalty is that the system will slightly lower the ranking of the webpage when ranking the webpage;
· The common punishment is that the ranking of some keywords (or all keywords) of a cheating website falls below that of any other website;
· Severe punishments: websites with extremely bad cheating behaviors and consequences will be removed from Baidu;
· In particular, although webpages that contain highly objectionable content such as malicious code or malicious plug-ins are not cheating, Baidu rejects such content once confirmed due to user complaints;
