Baidu map open interface learning and Baidu map interface
The Baidu map Android SDK is an application interface based on Android 2.1 and later. You can use this SDK to develop a map application for Android mobile devices. by calling the map SDK interface, you can easily access Baidu map service and data, build map applications with rich functions and strong interactivity. All services provided by Baidu map Android SDK are free of charge, and there is no limit on the number of times the interface is used. You must apply for a key before using the Baidu map Android SDK.
1. Map
Provides Map Display and map operations
· Map Display includes: Common maps (2D and 3D), satellite maps, and real-time traffic maps;
· Map operations: you can click, double-click, long-press, scale, rotate, and change the angle of view on a map through interfaces or gesture control.
2 POI search
Supports nearby search, regional search, and city search.
· Peripheral search: POI search with a specified distance as the radius centered on a specific point based on the keywords entered by the user;
· Regional Search: Perform POI search based on keywords in the specified rectangular area;
· Intra-city search: in a city, POI search is performed based on keywords entered by users;
· POI details retrieval: retrieves the details of the point of interest based on the poi id.
3. Geographic code
Provides the ability to convert geographical coordinates and addresses.
· Forward geocode: converts Chinese addresses or place name descriptions to corresponding locations on the earth surface;
· Reverse geocoding: the process of converting the address on the earth's surface into a standard address.
4. Route Planning

5. map covering
The Baidu map SDK supports multiple map covers to help you display richer maps. Currently, supported map covers include positioning layers, Marker, and ry (points, broken lines, arcs, polygon, etc) topographic Map layer, POI retrieval result cover, line planning result cover, heatmap layer, etc.
6 Positioning
GPS, Wi-Fi, base station, and IP address hybrid positioning modes are used. Use the Android positioning SDK to obtain positioning information and use the map SDK positioning layer for location display.
7. Offline Map
You can import offline map packages in two ways: manual and SDK interfaces. Using offline maps can save user traffic and provide better map display results.
8. Navigation
Currently, the SDK supports Baidu Map Client navigation and Web page navigation (H5 navigation ). (Note: To enable Baidu map navigation, you need to install Baidu map of version 5.0 and later on the device in advance)
8. LBS cloud
Baidu map LBS cloud is a platform-level service launched by Baidu map for LBS developers. It is applicable not only to PC application development, but also to mobile device application development. With LBS cloud, mobile developers can store massive volumes of data on their servers at no cost and maintain pressure, efficiently retrieve user data, and display maps.
10. Special Features
Features include short string sharing and Place details page display.
· Short string sharing: generate short strings for POI search results or anti-geocode results. When other users click a short string, they can access the Baidu Map Client or mobile browser on their mobile phones to view the short string;
· Place details retrieval: retrieves the details of a POI Based on the poi id;
· Heat map function: Open the heat map rendering capability to help developers build their own heat maps.
