Basic operations for Excel rows and columns: inserting

For example, you need to insert a row between lines 6 and 7. Select all 7 rows of information, right-click on the selected data, and select Insert on the pop-up shortcut menu, as shown in the picture.

Select the move cell down or entire row radio button in the Open Insert dialog box, and then click OK, as shown in the figure. A row of blank cells is inserted successfully, as shown in the figure. Fill in the missing information in the newly added cell.

3 The method of inserting a column is basically consistent with the method for inserting rows. Note that if the Move cell right radio button is selected in the Insert dialog box, the only has the selected portion moved to the right, and the other cells are the result of the change, which is different from inserting the whole column.
