Block-level and inline Elements

Block-level elements:

Div, P, form, UL, Li, ol, DL, form, address, fieldset, HR, menu, table

Each block-level element is displayed from a new line, and the subsequent element is displayed in another line.

 

Inline element: does not cause line breaks, suchSpanAnd so on

You can use the display: inline function of CSS to change block-level elements to inline elements, or use the display: Block Function to change inline elements to block elements.
