Steps for building an android development environment using myeclipse + SDK + ADT
Software Version:
JDK: jdk-6u30-windows-i586
Myeclipse: myeclipse8.5
SDK: android-sdk_r16-windows
ADT: ADT-16.0.0
Installation steps:
1. Install JDK 6;
2. Install myeclipse8.5;
3. Install Android SDK: Decompress android-sdk-windows.rar -- run SDK setup.exe -- select the SDK version you want to install on the pop-up interface, and click Install. After installation, configure the SDK environment:
In User Variables
New variable name: Path
Variable value: D: \ devtool \ SDK \ Android-SDK \ tools (the absolute path of tools under my SDK depends on your own situation)
Enter Android-H in the command prompt and press Enter. If a large text is displayed, the configuration is correct.
4. Install the ADT plug-in:
Installation Method: Download and decompress the ADT file, copy the feature and plugin folders to the dropins file under the myeclipse installation directory, and restart myeclipse. 5. Configure SDK home: After myeclipse is restarted, set the parameters of myeclipse to point to the root directory of the Development Kit ($ SDK _ home ):
A) Select WINDOW> preferences... Open the parameter settings panel
B) Select android in the left-side navigation pane.
C) Click the SDK package address in the address bar behind the SDK location on the right panel, or click the Browse button to search for the SDK package in the system.
6. Create an AVD virtual device:
Return to the main interface of myeclipse and click the robot shown in,
We need to create an AVD, that is, the simulator. Click new
Name: Random write
Target: select the SDK version you have installed

Card: size: the size of your virtual card. This is to really occupy the memory of your computer. I don't know how to use it, so I set it to 512.
Skin: select the skin of a virtual machine. After installing other skins, you can copy the downloaded skin file to the skins folder of your SDK version under platforms under your SDK directory.
Click Create AVD and so on. The AVD you created will appear.
7. Create the first project: helloandroidtest
Let's start with helloandroidtest, file-> New-> Android project:
Project name: Project name helloandroidtest
Bulid target: select an SDK version
Application
Name: Enter package name
...
Min
SDK version: Write the version corresponding to your SDK. sdk3.2 is 13.
Click Finish.
It automatically jumps to the project view.
Right-click and choose run as> RUN deployments> Android Application.
Apply-> close, right-click your project name and choose runs as-> Android Application.
It is a very difficult process to run the program for the first time. It takes at least five minutes to wait patiently. The final result is as follows:
Unlock: displays the default system interface:
Automatically run the helloandroidtest program:
Click the left arrow to go back to the default system interface. Click apps to display the system application interface:
In the system application, you can find the program helloandroidtest.
Now, the system has been built and the project has been created for testing!
