Cause of Ghost installation error on MAC local troubleshooting solution for Ghost installation on MAC local

Download the Ghost and run the npm install-production command to compile it. After the attempt, the npm start is invalid. The terminal window reports the following error:

The message is similar to 'Error: Cannot find module 'xxxxxxxx./bindingReleasenode-v11-darwin-x64node_sqlite3.node '"

Cause

An error occurred while installing the sqlite3 database. It may be because Amazon S3 is walled and can be used as a proxy;

Solution

You can directly download the sqlite3 file and decompress it to the node_modulessqlite3libbindingRelease folder of the ghost installation path, and re-run npm start.
