Base station hardware faults
Network optimization is based on the normal operation of the base station equipment. Poor service quality of some functional modules or the backend of the base station seriously affects the network quality, leading to blind coverage. Countermeasure: to address the hardware faults of base stations, operators should strengthen network management monitoring, strengthen management of routine maintenance of base stations, and repair faults in a timely manner to ensure normal operation of base stations.
Antenna Feeder and connection equipment problems
Antenna Feeder problems mainly exist in the following three aspects: first, the feeder installation error from the BTS to the antenna is caused by the anti-fault of the antenna feeder, which is prone to the new base station and the relocation of the base station; second, the antenna transmitting and receiving signals are faulty due to aging of the antenna feeder. Third, when the antenna is first installed, it can only be installed on the walls of buildings due to special circumstances, or it is directly fixed on the pole, so that the optimizer cannot adjust the slice.
Connection equipment problems are mainly caused by signal leakage caused by the failure to replace or loosen the feeder joints for a long time, resulting in poor transmit power of the antenna.
Countermeasure: maintenance is very important. First, operators should strictly supervise the construction of the base station to ensure the quality of the new station's antenna feeder project. Maintenance personnel should regularly inspect the tianfeeder System of the base station, timely repair when problems are detected.
Indoor Distribution System Problems
The indoor distribution system is an extension of signals, which can improve the coverage quality of CDMA. China Telecom's existing indoor distribution system is transformed from the original PHS indoor distribution system, and the other is the system handed over from China Unicom. Many handed-over room subsystems have problems such as device aging, line aging, optical path failure, incorrect gain settings, and human damage. With the entry of new base stations, the outdoor macro station signal in high-rise buildings seriously interferes with the indoor signal.
Countermeasure: for buildings without an indoor distribution system, it is recommended to adjust the outdoor macro station for coverage. If there is a market demand for indoor coverage, you can consider increasing the coverage of the indoor distribution system; for the aging of some equipment in the indoor distribution system, the equipment should be renovated. For buildings with indoor distribution systems but still having high-rise guide pollution problems, if the problem still cannot be effectively solved after adjusting the outdoor macro station signal and completing the rectification of the indoor distribution system, we recommend that you use the indoor special frequency points in combination with the pseudo-pilot frequency to solve the problem.
Data configuration problems
The unique soft switching mode of CDMA makes the signal control of the base station more important than that of other mobile communication systems, which also increases the control difficulty. If the signal control is improper, it may cause pilot pollution and strong interference, network performance deteriorated. Misconfiguration of system parameters will lead to a decrease in network quality. In particular, the configuration of the neighboring relationship after the new base station will seriously affect user perception.
Countermeasure: The optimizer checks whether the power parameters, switching parameters, and access parameters of the base station are properly configured based on the map and on-site survey, and then performs the DT/CQT test to verify the rationality of the Data configuration.
