Second, define and use crosstab queries
A crosstab query displays summary values (totals, calculations, averages, and so on) from a field in a table and groups them in a query table, a group of columns to the left of the datasheet, and a set of columns at the top of the datasheet. Chinese visual FoxPro 6 also has this feature, which is simpler than the Chinese Access 2000, with the following steps listed:
Step one, in the Database window, click the query item in the Objects list group. When you have it selected, click the New button in the Database window toolbar, go to the New Query dialog box and select the Crosstab Query Wizard, and then click OK to see Figure 8.

In step two, select the table you want to query in the Crosstab Query Wizard, such as the customer and contract amount in Figure 9.
