The technique of transforming the alphabet is the use of movie clip.

1, create a good letter library
The letter-A-Z effect can be designed by itself, or it can be plain text. Then convert it to a symbol. (Insert>>convert to Symbol>>graphic), name and letter correspondence.
Note that every letter stored in the symbol, coordinate position must be consistent, otherwise there will be a lot of trouble when used, it is recommended not to create a new symbol, and then enter the letter. It is best to make the letters first in the scene and then convert them into symbols. In this way, the coordinates are in the central position and the letter coordinates in all the symbols are consistent.
When you have the letters you need, you can start the next step!

2, the letter transforms the animation production
Create a new movie Clip, take name as movie. The first keyframe is placed in an alphabetic sign, such as "a". After the center position is adjusted, a keyframe is inserted into the second frame.
Now you see the first and second frames are the same, then select the second frame of the letter, select the "Instance" window, click the "Swap symbol" button.

In the window, you can see that a black spot selects the current symbol "A" and then selects the symbol "B" and Presses "OK".

Back to the symbol movie Clip, you see two frames of the content is different, according to this method, the third key frame of the content is the symbol "C", according to their own needs, you can put different letters, different frames.
This may seem like a lot of trouble, but it guarantees that the letters will not be mangled when transformed to achieve the desired effect.

3, the use of movie clip in time staggered to achieve the transformation effect
In the example of "WELCOME to You", the previous transformation effect is actually a movie Clip, just do not play the time is different, so as to achieve seemingly no rules of the letter transformation.

4, the letter I want to change the edge out
First of all, determine the content of their final appearance, such as "WELCOME to You", altogether is 12 letters.
In the scene, add a layer, determine the position of the letter "W", and the letter is the symbol movie, and then according to the content, put 14 films movie
Now these symbols are on the first floor, to put them in a different 12 layers, the steps can be this: selection of the second, press CTRL+X, a new layer, in the new layer press CTRL+SHIFT+V, you can paste to the original coordinate position, and then select the third, continue to operate.
On frame 100th of each layer, insert a keyframe. On frame 100th, start with the first movie movie, replace it with the "WELCOME to" for the content, and switch symbol to ensure that the symbol position is not offset. Then stagger in time, move the last symbol frame to frame 98th, the second-lowest-letter frame moves to frame 96th, and each previous symbol is reduced by two frames, which can be adjusted as needed. As shown in figure:

Similarly, the first frame of the symbol movie also need to stagger, the second symbol, moved to frame 3rd, the third symbol moved to the 5th frame, each subsequent symbol to add two frames, can be adjusted as needed, starting from the second frame, each frame before the empty frame, no content.
In this way, starting to use the same movie Clip, in the time staggered to achieve the transformation effect. To the last frame, in the same position as the symbol, the transform animation movie is replaced with a single letter symbol, which completes the effect. The coordinates of each symbol in the making process is more troublesome.
