Country code and location code
In 1980, in order to make every Chinese character has a unified national code, China issued the first Chinese character encoding National Standard: GB2312-80 "information exchange with Chinese character encoding Character Set" basic set, this character set is the Development Basis of Chinese Information Processing Technology in China and also the unified standard of all Chinese character systems in China.
The Country Code is a four-digit hexadecimal number, and the location code is a four-digit decimal number. Each country code or area code corresponds to a unique Chinese character or symbol, however, we rarely use hexadecimal numbers, so we usually use location codes. The first two of them are called area codes, and the last two are called bit codes.
Generally, in the Chinese character system under DOS, you can call the location code input method by pressing the Alt key and the F1 key at the same time. In Windows, CTRL + Space key and CTRL + shift are commonly used to call up the location code. For example, "2901" indicates "jian", "4582" indicates "8150", and "" indicates "shen". These are Chinese characters, you can also easily enter special characters using the location code. For example, "0189" indicates "※", and" 0528 "indicates" Japanese ), "0711" indicates "yellow" (in Russian) and "0949" indicates "yellow" (Tab ).
In the location code, the 01-09 area is a special character, and the 10-55 area is a level-1 Chinese character (3755 most commonly used Chinese characters are listed in the order of Pinyin letters ), area 56-87 is a list of second-level Chinese characters (3008 Chinese characters, sorted by the beginning of the Order). In the field code input method, the Chinese character encoding is not duplicated, it is very fast to input Chinese characters, but it is quite difficult to remember all the location codes. It is often used to input special characters, such as tabs and Greek letters. Here we will briefly introduce several areas.
