How people interact with technology
Three dimensions:
1. User: it can be an old man, a child, a person, a team, etc.
2. task: simple tasks, to complex data analysis
3. Context: even if the user and task are the same, different environments may affect interaction.

2. Usability availability
Measure usability: five dimensions
Speed: the time when the user completes a job. Ignore the error. In the optimal case, the iPhone is identified by fingerprint and the password of the iPhone. The logon time is 1 s and 4.8 s, respectively.
Efficiency: How to prepare mistakes made in one task. An error may occur on the iPhone that enters the password, but fingerprint recognition does not.
Learnability: how easy it is to learn to use a system.
Memorability: once learned, how easy to remember how to use the system. for example, to select a font, you can enter a common font in the font box or select a non-common font from the drop-down list.
User preference: What do users like. This item may be contrary to other projects, such:
How to measure:
1. Timing
2. counting errors
3. Measure learnability: for example, it takes 10 seconds for the first user to log on, and the second time is reduced to a very low level.
4 measure memorability: for example, after a long logon, you can log on again to check the time difference from the previous one. Is a good system.
5. measure user preference: standard questionnaire, surveys are used to communicate with users, where improvements are needed.
