If you only want to use an environment variable in this login, you can directly enter the following content in the terminal:
Export cvsroot =: ext: [email protected]:/CVS/bv_sip
Export cvs_rsh = SSH
After executing the command, use the Export command to investigate and find that the environment variables cvsroot and cvs_rhs already exist.
For environment variables configured for a single user, you only need to find the file. bash_profile in the home directory of the corresponding user.
(Note that this file is a hidden file. You can see it by running the LS-Al command)
Vi. bash_profile
Cvsroot =: ext: [email protected]:/CVS/bv_sip
Export cvsroot
Cvs_rsh = SSH
Export cvs_rhs
Log out after editing and run the Export command to check whether the environment variables cvsroot and cvs_rhs are available.
If it is an environment variable for all users, you need to go to the/etc directory to edit the profile file
