Data structure This course
As a subject, the data structure is the subject of the computer's operation and the relation between them and the operation of the programming problem of the numerical computation. The description problem is no longer a mathematical model but a graph tree.
Note: The data structure is not unique to the computer, it is the research object is not a numerical value, such as: A library book collection, you can think of books as data, and then study the relationship between the book subjects. This is a data structure that is not linked to the computer. As a member of computer science, we should learn this course with the knowledge of computer. Use the language of the computer to understand and describe the data structure.
Then all the explanations are all about the C language to describe the data structure.
The position of data structure in computer
The concept of data structure nouns
Data: The expression of objective things. A collection of symbols that can be entered into a computer and can be processed by a computer.
It can be pictures, numbers, sounds, and so on.
Data element: (the basic unit of the data) is an "individual" in the data (set), and a data element can consist of several data items. As shown in the following illustration:
A student's information is a data element, and the contents of the inside are data items, the data item is the smallest unit of data indivisible.
Data object: A collection of data elements of the same nature. For example: A={0,1,2,3..N}
Conceptual understanding of data structures
A collection of data elements that have relationships (one or more) between each other. And each element is structured in relation to each other. For example: A student information in a gender as a male student, then the name can not be a small flower (that is, not a girl's name), which is the relationship between the name and gender, also known as the structure.
It is also possible to say that a data structure is the relationship between an object and the data elements that exist between the object's instance and the constituent instance.
