The first thing to learn about design is that design is not art. I did not distinguish this concept from each other at the beginning, and it was difficult to design for the first time. Design is communication, communication, art is performance, and creation. This does not mean that there are no elements in the design, nor that art does not care about communication. However, there is a big difference between the two. Design cannot be done by feeling. We need to consider various factors, find the most effective expression methods, and translate our feelings into effective visual languages that the masses can understand.

The quality of a design work is usually determined by its details, such as font selection, image structure, and color differences. Nuance plays a significant role in reflecting the entire work. No matter how good a design idea is, if it is rough, it will lose its charm. In addition, if we ask ourselves to pay attention to these details and Their Influences, we may find some new inspirations and directions.

From the very beginning, the teacher constantly stressed the importance of variation. When we do a job, we never look for the so-called correct answer, but try to sort out our various ideas and try to express them in different ways, constantly let one idea bring itself to another. In this way, we can expand our imagination and see different possibilities. Although the final results are important, the process is more important. This process of exploration cannot be replaced by anything. Today, the teacher mentioned the difference between variation and alternative. I think it is very important. A change is a variety of expressions that look for the same expression, while a replacement is another expression. For example, music symbols, five-line music, and musical instruments are different expressions of different music changes. The alternative expressions may include the colors that indicate the music atmosphere and well-known musicians. Sometimes, if an idea seems to be always not doing well, maybe you should look for a replacement idea. If you find a suitable idea, you should look at the way in which it can change, to get the most detailed answer design. The boundaries between change and replacement are often not very clear, but it would be helpful if there is a general concept.

I think the biggest benefit of designing and designing is to be exposed to many different fields. For example, our homework once involved pollution, city changes, jazz propaganda, future architectural trends, and water problems. We usually choose an angle in the question and then make persuasive visual works. To express your opinion, you must first collect a lot of relevant information and have a certain understanding of the subject. Finished products can be abstract, but ideas must be tangible and rational. Many people think that design is to make beautiful things on the computer, but this is not the case at all. Most of the time we have learned design, we are looking for information, researching and digesting them, and then trying to find our place to express our ideas. It is impossible to express a problem effectively without fully understanding it. If you don't even know what you want to say, no matter how nice the finished product is, it's a blank piece of white paper because it doesn't have clear content. Over the last few semesters, my research capabilities have improved and I have re-understood the meaning of the design.

Do you know who is the best friend of a designer? It is a camera and a photocopier. They are essential tools and toys for design. Image Library images are limited after all. The biggest fear is that there is no perfect image in the image library, so we have to compromise a general one, so that a good idea cannot be used to the greatest extent. If you have the opportunity, you 'd better use your own images. Going out to take photos is also a great entertainment. What about the photocopier? Too many people underestimate its value. Copying files from the dead panel is only the most basic function of the photocopier. We can copy flat objects, three-dimensional objects, and patchwork objects. Can be zoomed in or out. It can be repeatedly printed on the same piece of paper. You can copy and move the objects in it to produce many unique and unexpected results. What comes out of the photocopier usually has a special quality, which can make the design work shine. Computers are also our friends. But if you don't pay attention to it, it may become bad friends. We are too dependent on computers. Sometimes even if you don't want to, you can press the button to make an effect, because it is too convenient. However, these automated functions often lead us to miss some exploration opportunities, and often come to the final products driven by technology and lack of features. A computer should not be the answer. It is just a tool like a camera or a photocopier. It can help us save a lot of trouble and make other places unable to do the effect, but the computer may not always do well. Before pulling down the tool menu in photoshop, you must think about it. Is this my only choice?

On TV that day, I saw an idol singer singing on the stage, waving at the bottom, and then ran around. The lyrics space was busy greeting everyone and did not sing seriously at all. I suddenly think that the difference between him and a strong singer is the same as that between a self-righteous designer and a professional designer. The former focuses only on expressing itself, while the latter focuses on expressing some things. Sometimes, when you design a common thing, such as a subway schedule or a magazine article, it is too beautiful, too prominent, and too distinctive, it will lose its basic functions. Those superfluous flowers and flowers affect people to read real content, just as I never remember idol songs.

What a teacher once said to me made me understand the design a lot at once. He told me that what I was doing was image drive, not idea drive. At that time, I liked to piece together some images in photoshop. I thought it looked cool and thought that adding a title became a work. However, the teacher said that these images are just patchwork images. You didn't give them any meaning, so they won't make sense to others. To go beyond this level, the work must give priority to ideas. images should obey and support your ideas, not just independent ornaments.

This is an interesting analogy: Text Arrangement Design (typography) should be like glass. It should correctly reflect the personality and characteristics of the text, but it should also be transparent to people. If the shape of a font or text itself is more intense than the one in the text, the design will be locked by yourself.

About posters. Basically, there are two types of posters: 1) information provision (informative) and 2) persuasion guidance (persuasive ). Provide posters to help the audience acquire the necessary knowledge. It is best to use a unique method, such as using images or metaphors to make the materials in the poster easy to understand and remember. Persuasion and guidance is to challenge the audience to have a certain direction in a certain thing, and can also be achieved through the provision of information. Posters are unique and give you a lot of space and space. However, many people tend not to take advantage of this advantage. They also design posters based on the ideas of designing books, such a finished product will only look like a magnified book, and lose the vitality of the poster. Generally, there are three levels of posters that can be read. When it is a long distance, it should have certain characteristics that will attract you. When it is a medium distance, you should be able to understand what this poster is about. When it is very close, you should be able to read other details. The poster has its own unique mission. If you grasp it well, you can use it infinitely.

On that day, I drew a draft of my work at the design stage and thought that I really didn't understand anything at that time. In retrospect, there are two most important points learned over the past year. 1. Each design concept has its own language. Style should not be a rigid appearance, but should be used to express thoughts. Some people prefer the digital effect, so everything is like that. This habitual thing makes the original features numb, loses representativeness and meaning, and becomes a pure decoration. I used to think that a good design has a specific So-called appearance, such as cool, very fine lines, and fuzzy text. In fact, if these things have no practical use, abuse of them will only degrade your work. 2. Each person has a different expertise, which makes the design work rich and colorful. In the face of a design problem, you should consider finding the best solution. In addition, we must do our best and never be careless. Sometimes, some ideas are most suitable for image synthesis. However, if you do not have the confidence and ability to do the same thing, it is better to find another idea that you can do. As a student, we often think that we can tell the teacher what we want to do. Students who are new to the design often come up with a sloppy manuscript. Although you cannot see it, but I think there is a runner here, with a tornado in the back and a cool color effect... the teacher had to say that you are doing well. Why not do it? Then he found out that he could not make what he imagined. Design is not only an issue of thinking, but also a production issue. Effective combination of the two can produce good works.

These two days I have been busy printing the final finished product and then sticking it to the display board. I have actually taken my own services, and I have never known how many times. I will still turn the board off and make the surface dirty. What's even dumb is to cut off my fingers a little more... one or two of the few people in our class will go to a professional printing store to make all-inclusive, printed, and tiled, it is said that the total cost of two large posters is about $60. Printed in our school is only $10, of course you have to buy a board or something. They thought it was worth it. They were both professional and brilliant. However, I always think that adding such a program at the end of my homework is a bit... I should be careful not to join them in next year's exhibition model class.

Last summer, I bought a very good book in Beijing, "conception and creation-writing skills theory", Dr. pan. I originally wanted to improve my Chinese Proficiency, but the more I read, I found that many of the content in the book is actually helpful for me to learn and design. In different ways, design and writing are both expressions and communication. A good design can tell a story, and a good writing can make people see a painting that cannot be drawn. This book introduces many very interesting and critical concepts. For example, the basis for inspiration is the accumulation of information, knowledge, and experience, metaphor and symbol, contrast, how to observe and express the relationship between different aspects of life, the relationship between Density and truth-the needs of theme and rhythm, and so on. Although it is a book about writing, I think anyone involved in writing will benefit from reading it. This makes me realize that there are too many things to communicate with each other in this world, and almost everything can be connected with anything. The more I think, the more interesting it is! In retrospect, I did not like learning until a few years ago. Homework is a task. After you finish the test, you will leave it behind. All the knowledge is used to cope with the test. You cannot remember anything after the test. I don't know when to start. My views on learning seem to have completely changed. I now think that learning is like playing games. It's a big fan to know. It is not the key to not solve the problem. The key is that, as long as I study and move forward, my previous accumulated pieces of information will gradually be pieced together, and I will find them very interesting when I look at them. Moreover, learning does not mean listening to lectures in class. It is already integrated with life. This change is related to my half-year life experience in Japan, to my college education, and to many things. I think they are very interesting.
