WinForms Accordion Controls
The WinForms accordion control in the new version is an advanced navigation control that looks for features in an existing Xtranavbar control. The accordion control allows you to create a full-featured navigation bar with multiple items (actions). A project can be combined into a group that can contain nested groups, which makes it easier for you to create an advanced hierarchical navigation menu.
The features include:
Unlimited number of levels
Items can display images and text
Context button
Project header to display custom controls
Project selection
Group expand/Shrink animations (one or more groups can be expanded at the same time)
Built-In Search
WinForms Navigation Pane Controls
The new WinForms Navigation pane control provides a set of pages that can be arranged vertically into a single column. Only one single page can be activated at any point in time, and the Web page can scale out the custom content.
WinForms SDI navigation box
The new WinForms navigation box is an SDI (single-document interface) content container. This control has a collection of web pages. Only one page can be activated at any point in time. A page can host any content in a user control's panel and combo box. The page navigation also uses an elegant animation effect.
Support for MVVM
The DevExpress MVVM Library, which was previously available to WPF developers, has now been extended to WinForms, so you can create a complex WinForms application that supports MVVM. All DevExpress WinForms UI controls now fully support the MVVM framework and provide design-time functionality to perform basic operations such as property and command binding, creating and registering services, and so on.
WinForms Camera Control
The new WinForms camera control can display the video stream from the webcam device and take a snapshot. Its built-in Setup Panel allows you to adjust your video settings (contrast, brightness, etc.) and select the desired camera whenever multiple devices are plugged in.
You can also call the Camera dialog box and get the picture from the WinForms Pictureedit control through its context menu.
